7 Zip is much better than Windows Zip. Here is how you download it and install it. You could also try the traditional Windows Zip if you do not want to use 7 Zip.
Step 1: Download and install 7 Zip

Step 2: Right Click on the Folder and choose 7-Zip
Step 3: Choose AAddto “FOLDERNAME”.zip
