NetDocuments has been around since 1997, so it has some built-in Legacy features that are no longer useful.  There is no real reason to use the Cabinet Inbox or the My Cabinet in NetDocuments anymore.

Cabinet Inbox

This is something only a NetDocuments Cabinet Administrator will see.

From NetDocuments:

https://netdocuments.force.com/NetDocumentsSupport/s/article/205217320

By default, ONLY Cabinet Administrators have VESA access to this folder in addition to the cabinet default access. The Cabinet Inbox does not appear for Internal Users in the Navigation Pane or as a filing location.

The Cabinet Inbox cannot be deleted, renamed, moved, or have its access modified.

The Cabinet Inbox folder access cannot be modified and should generally not be used when adding new documents.

My Cabinet

You can only store 3mb of data, which makes this kind of pointless.

In a user’s settings, you can go to Account Information and uncheck Display My Cabinet in the cabinet selector.
